The problems of safety of transportations are closely connected with an assessment of risks. En-suring efficiency and safety of such transportations demands an integrated approach in the field of an assessment of risks taking into account features of transport and geography of transportations. The methods of an assessment of risks are based on the use of statistical data, and on the use of the method of expert evaluations. The algorithm of formation of risk assessment is under construction on definition of weight estimations of refusals/conditions, which caused accidents, formation of a cumulative (integrated) assessment of probability of emergence of an emergency. The average price of the risk, which is compared to the admissible size of risk pays off. It is thus, considered, if loss of human life is absent and the risk price is less than expected profit, such risk for commercial reasons can be considered as an admissible one.
