The crisis of national identity in the context of globalization

Annotatsiya

This article analyzes the transformational processes and crisis states of identity arising under the influence of globalization processes on personal identity based on a comprehensive scientific approach. In particular, it substantiates that the expansion of the information space, the globalization of mass culture, the intensification of intercultural interaction, and the dynamic change of social norms exert a direct and multifaceted impact on the system of self-awareness of the individual. The article examines the psychological, sociological, and cultural-philosophical determinants of the identity crisis through an integrative approach, placing special emphasis on the dialectical relationship between global and national values and the problem of maintaining their balance.
