Annotatsiya

International organizations, including the United Nations (UN), UNESCO, and the European Union (EU), are actively developing initiatives for the international legal and institutional regulation of artificial intelligence (AI). Global AI governance has become an important issue on their agendas, reflecting the need to establish universal, ethically grounded rules for regulating AI technologies, protecting human rights, preventing military threats, and ensuring information security. These organizations emphasize strengthening international cooperation to balance AI development with the prevention of technological disparities in information security. This article examines strategic initiatives undertaken by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in AI regulation and information security. It also proposes establishing an international organization dedicated to regional AI regulation.
