Annotatsiya

Abstract. The article examines the theoretical, methodological and practical foundations for improving the methodology of developing the speech competence of future primary education teachers through text-based activities using innovative approaches. The study treats a text not merely as a source of information, but as a complex pedagogical resource that organizes students’ cognitive, communicative, interpretive, productive and reflective activities. Speech competence is considered through the integrated processes of comprehending, analyzing, interpreting, transforming and applying texts in communicative situations, producing independent texts and reflecting on one’s own speech performance. The potential of competency-based, communicative, integrative, activity-oriented, reflective and digital-interactive approaches is substantiated
