Abstract. The article examines the methodological possibilities of integrating modular technology with professional situations and microteaching in the preparation of future biology teachers. A professional situation is interpreted as a didactic unit that shifts the student from reproducing biological knowledge to making pedagogical decisions. Microteaching is substantiated as a tool for testing such decisions in a short, manageable setting, collecting evidence and carrying out reflective correction. A cycle of “professional situation – analysis – methodological decision – microteaching – evidence-based assessment – correction” is proposed.
