Annotation. Digital learning resources support the development of prospective mathematics teachers’ professional competence by connecting mathematical knowledge with teaching skills. Electronic learning materials, dynamic diagrams, interactive tasks and digital assessment tools offer opportunities to visualise concepts, understand relationships between mathematical representations and think independently. Purposeful use of these resources enables prospective teachers to practise selecting learning tasks, explaining mathematical errors, adapting support and justifying solutions. Mathematical accuracy, clarity of content, useful feedback and alignment between tasks and learning objectives determine the didactic value of digital resources
