This article examines issues related to ensuring family stability in contemporary family law relations, strengthening parental responsibility, and effectively protecting the rights and legitimate interests of the child during divorce proceedings. The primary objective of the study is to substantiate the need to move from an approach focused exclusively on resolving family disputes after they arise to a preventive model based on conflict prevention, preparing parents for lawful and responsible conduct, and strengthening institutional cooperation among public authorities. The article analyzes the family legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, international standards on children’s rights, the institution of mediation, and findings from international scholarly research.
