Although the idea of goodness is specific to any work of art, the criteria is that it ensures the realization of goodness and isinterpreted differently by writers. However, the concept of enlightenment has always played an important role in the emergenceof a literary pattern in line with the idea of goodness. This article is devoted to the interpretation of the idea of enlightenment inthe tragedy “Othello” by William Shakespeare, one of the rare masterpieces of world linguistics.
