This article analyzes the history of the emergence of the right to freedom of scientific creativity. The paper describes the details of the emergence of the norm in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on the right to use scientific achievements. Other international acts indicating the right to use or participate in the fruits of scientific progress are also compared.
