Annotatsiya

This article provides a comparison of constitutional norms in which different meanings of law and science are revealed. Four main meanings of the right to science are analyzed: the use of the benefits of scientific progress; freedom of science; protection from the adverse effects of science and the obligation to promote scientific and technological progress. Analysis of the article shows that many national constitutions protect the right to science.
