Latency, that is, concealment, non-detection, or, in other words, its implicit part, information about which was not received by state bodies, which means that it is not in the statistics. Latent crime also includes those situations where the principle of inevitability of criminal liability is not applied to the person who committed the crime, even if the crime is officially revealed and the accomplices of this crime are brought to criminal responsibility (subjective latency).
