Annotatsiya

This article presents an analytical review of PhD dissertations in art studies defended in Uzbekistan in 2025. The work examines the role of the younger generation of scholars in implementing the state cultural strategy of the "Third Renaissance." Based on the author's own reviews of several dissertations, the following key trends in modern Uzbek musicology are identified: an increased focus on regional identity, strict analytical systematicity in examining traditional musical structures, and the synthesis of Eastern monody with academic genres. Special attention is paid to the actualization of historical memory and traditional pedagogical methods in professional education. The article highlights the contribution of leading scientific and educational centers, such as the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, the Yunus Rajabi Institute of Maqom, and the Institute of Art Studies, to the formation of a new scientific paradigm. The findings demonstrate the high potential of young researchers in preserving and interpreting the national musical heritage in the context of globalization, which confirms the effectiveness of current academic policy in the field of musical art in Uzbekistan.
