Annotatsiya

The urgency of the allergy problem is explained by the increasing number of deaths from severe allergies. Modern man exists in a world of allergens. Allergens are substances of various nature and origin. In this regard, it is especially important to find out the importance of industrial allergens in the etiology of occupational allergies in general and allergic diseases in the textile industry in particular. In an experiment on laboratory animals (guinea pigs), the allergenic properties of cotton fiber were clarified. When guinea pigs are sensitized with cotton fiber extract, specific homocytotropic antibodies are detected in the blood serum, the titer of which reaches maximum values within 2-3 weeks. With intravenous administration of a permissive dose of a specific allergen from cotton fiber, a typical fatal anaphylactic shock develops
