Annotatsiya

Moyamoya disease is a rare chronic cerebrovascular disorder characterized by progressive stenosis or occlusion of the terminal portions of the internal carotid arteries and their major branches, accompanied by the development of an abnormal collateral vascular network. Despite the widespread use of surgical treatment strategies, including direct and indirect cerebral revascularization, the factors influencing long-term functional and angiographic outcomes remain insufficiently understood. The present study analyzed the functional and angiographic outcomes of surgical cerebral revascularization in children with Moyamoya disease who underwent treatment at our center.
