The article focuses on pedagogical technology of education in the light of introduction of innovation, i.e., introduction and application of innovations in educational process. Pedagogical innovation (PI) covers a wide range of issues and problems in educational process, provides for purposeful progressive change that introduces stable elements into educational environment, improving the characteristics of individual parts, components and educational system itself as a whole. Innovative directions in higher education system in our country include: formation and development of multilevel education system. It serves mobility in pace of learning, forms the ability of graduate to master new specialties on the basis of received higher education, enrichment of HEIs with modern information technologies, widespread Internet connection, development of distance learning forms in HEIs; appearance of university complexes (Campuses); updating of higher professional education standards with regard to world requirements. Probably, at present stage the main principles of HEI development are interrelation of science and practice in the process of training qualified specialist; continuity between all levels of education, high spirituality and sense of patriotism of students; high corporatism of HEI graduates; high civic position of students; intellectualism and high spirituality of HEI life regardless of political system and economic conditions in the country.
