This article highlights the concept of ritual, types of ritual, explains the theoretical and methodological aspects of ritual economy based on the results of scientific literature and field ethnographic research. The emphasis is on the fact that the issues of ritual economy are an important object of study not only for sociology, philosophy or economics, but also for anthropology and ethnology. In the article, the author substantiated the concept of ritual and meaning of “hashar” and mutual assistance in ritual economy.
