Relevance. Currently, the increase in life expectancy among the population is leading to new medical and social challenges in the fields of Gerontology and Geriatrics. In particular, ocular diseases in long-lived individuals, especially inflammatory diseases of the anterior ocular surface, are becoming increasingly significant. These conditions are characterized by a decline in patients’ quality of life, deterioration of visual function, and an increase in chronic inflammatory processes. Purpose of the study. To achieve early detection and prevention of inflammatory diseases of the anterior ocular surface in long-lived individuals. Materials and methods. The study materials were collected at the clinical base of the Fergana Branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Eye Microsurgery during 2021–2025. The examinations were conducted in 649 long-lived individuals residing in the Fergana region who were diagnosed with inflammatory diseases of the anterior ocular surface. All patients underwent comprehensive conventional and specialized ophthalmological examinations. Results and Conclusions. The obtained data demonstrated that inflammatory eye diseases in long-lived individuals are frequently associated with somatic pathologies, particularly Atherosclerosis, Ischemic Heart Disease, Hypertension, and decreased immune protection. The above-mentioned conditions impair ocular blood circulation in long-lived individuals, weaken trophic processes, and contribute to the progression of inflammatory reactions.
