This article provides a comprehensive assessment of the impact of irrigation on the state of reclamation of geological systems. The study analyzed processes such as soil salinization, rising groundwater levels, waterlogging, and disruption of the agro-ecological balance in irrigated areas. The regional impact of irrigation was also examined based on the relationships between soil, water, climate, topography and land cover. The study used geoinformation technologies, monitoring data, and statistical analysis methods. The results point to the need for science-based management of irrigation systems and efficient use of land and water resources.
