Despite the significant attention given to the epidemiology and prevention of pseudotuberculosis caused by Yersinia pseudotuberculosis infection, its prevalence remains one of the most pressing problems in all countries. The complex clinical course of the disease, including lesions of the gastrointestinal tract, skin, musculoskeletal system, and the development of multiple organ failure, leads to considerable social and economic losses.Pseudotuberculosis is an acute infectious disease caused by bacteria of the genus Yersinia. The disease manifests with fever, intoxication, lesions of the gastrointestinal tract and liver, as well as a rash resembling measles. This situation indicates the necessity of improving the epidemiological monitoring of yersinioses, analyzing pathogens from various serotypes, studying their biological characteristics, and increasing the effectiveness of preventive and anti-epidemic measures.
