while a decrease in the diameter of the left spinal artery indicates problems with microcirculation in women who have suffered an ischemic stroke on the background of metabolic syndrome, the recovery process is observed in the 2nd group. An improvement in blood flow in group 2 indicates the restoration of cerebral perfusion. All groups have a high resistance index, indicating the possibility of endothelial dysfunction or impaired vascular tone. These indicators were used to evaluate the position of the vertebral arteries and their dynamics in microcirculation. The results of the study can be used in the development of tactics for the early detection and treatment of endothelial dysfunction. In order to achieve full recovery, it may be necessary to change or expand therapeutic approaches.
