The article presents results of a comparative cohort study of 379 patients in the early recovery period after ischemic stroke. Speech and cognitive function characteristics were examined using standardized scales (MoCA, WAIS, FIM, Barthel, HAM-A, HAM-D, LMWT). Significant reduction in cognitive functions, functional independence, and logical-mnestic abilities compared to the control group was revealed. The most common types of aphasia were identified: efferent motor (16.89%), afferent motor (15.30%), sensory (15.30%), and amnestic (14.78%). Correlational relationships between functional, cognitive, and emotional indicators were established, as well as the influence of age and BMI on rehabilitation potential.
