Annotatsiya

Functional gastrointestinal disorders (FGIDs) in infants during the first year of life are among the most common problems in pediatric practice. The aim of the study was to assess the role of laboratory and instrumental parameters in the diagnosis of functional gastrointestinal disorders in infants under one year of age with perinatal nervous system damage. In children of the main group, meteorism was observed more frequently in 73.1% of cases, regurgitation in 51.2%, constipation in 42.2%, infantile colic in 51.2%, and functional diarrhea in 23.5%, with a more pronounced predominance compared to the control group. In addition, insufficient weight gain was detected in 23.5% of infants in the main group. Coprogram analysis showed that children with perinatal nervous system damage predominantly had neutral fats in 53 (43.1%) cases, increased mucus content in 65 (52.8%), undigested muscle fibers in 52 (42.2%), and undigested plant fibers in 40 (32.5%) cases.
