Parkinson's disease (PD) is one of the most common neurodegenerative diseases characterized by progressive damage to dopaminergic neurons of the black substance and the development of a characteristic symptom complex of motor and non-motor disorders. According to epidemiological studies, the prevalence of Parkinson's disease is 0.1-0.3% in the general population, reaching 1-3% among individuals over 60 years old, which defines this pathology as an important medical and social problem of our time.
