Cerebrovascular diseases and chronic cerebral ischemia remain one of the leading causes of cognitive impairment, leading to a decrease in quality of life and disability in working-age patients.In modern literature, the main attention is traditionally paid to arterial hypertension and atherosclerosis as key risk factors for chronic cerebral ischemia, while the effect of arterial hypotension on cerebral blood flow and the clinical picture of cerebrovascular insufficiency has been covered significantly less.
