Abstract This article examines the characteristics of boxing as a sport that includes both physical and psychological training. Key aspects of fighting technique and tactics, the role of the coach and the importance of the athlete's mental stability are analyzed Particular attention is paid to the influence of systematic training on physical development and the formation of volitional qualities. The article will be useful for specialists in the field of sports psychology, coaches and anyone interested in boxing from a scientific point of view.
