This study presents an analytical review of current trends andfuture prospects in sports medicine for academic rowing. Based on up-to-date data from 2020-2025, it examines key aspects of physiological and biomechanical adaptation in rowers, the injury profile, and approaches to medical rehabilitation. Particular attention is given to the integration of digital technologies — including artificial intelligence, telemedicine, and wearable devices — into athlete monitoring and support systems. The role of multidisciplinary models and personalized strategies in enhancing training efficiency, preventing overuse conditions, and extending athletic careers is substantiated. The article emphasizes the necessity of a scientifically grounded approach to the medical support of rowers in the context of the increasing demands of elite sport.
