One hundred patients with diagnosed CCI were examined. Biochemical, inflammatory, and ultrasound markers were assessed. A significant positive correlation was found between uric acid levels and intima-media thickness, C-reactive protein, and arterial stiffness. Hyperuricemia may serve as a vascular risk factor in this patient group.
