Vertebrobasilar insufficiency (VBI) is a common cerebrovascular disease, the different forms of which have different clinical manifestations. In this study, three types of VBI: atherosclerotic-hypertensive, migraine, and forms associated with vascular anomalies were compared in terms of clinical and neurological characteristics. The results showed that each type of VBI has a specific clinical course. The results of this study serve to improve the clinical assessment and differential diagnosis of VBI.
