Annotatsiya

Early pregnancy is a critical period in maternal and fetal development, during which the presence of certain risk factors can significantly impact the outcome of the pregnancy. Early identification and prevention of these risks are essential for improving maternal and neonatal health. This paper aims to explore the most common risk factors associated with early pregnancy complications, including maternal age, pre-existing medical conditions, nutritional deficiencies, infections, environmental exposures, and lifestyle habits such as smoking, alcohol consumption, and stress. Socioeconomic status and limited access to prenatal care also contribute to increased vulnerability during this stage. The study highlights the importance of early screening and comprehensive prenatal assessment in identifying high-risk pregnancies. Preventive strategies such as health education, timely supplementation (e.g., folic acid, iron), vaccination, and behavior modification are discussed as effective measures to reduce risks. Multidisciplinary approaches involving obstetricians, family physicians, and public health professionals are emphasized to ensure early intervention and optimal care. By recognizing risk factors in the first trimester and implementing preventive measures, healthcare providers can significantly reduce maternal morbidity and improve birth outcomes. This paper advocates for increased awareness and the integration of preventive protocols in early antenatal care programs.
