Annotatsiya

The article examines folklore motifs in the works of Shukur Kholmirzayev and analyzes theiraesthetic function within the literary text. The study reveals that elements of oral folk tradition, including mythologicalimages, symbols, customs, and ritual representations, are organically integrated into the writer’spoetics and serve as essential meaning- and image-forming components. Folklore motifs contribute to thedeepening of the ideological and artistic content, the disclosure of characters’ inner worlds, the enhancementof national color, and the philosophical depth of the text, reflecting the interaction between traditional folkworldview and modern artistic thinking and confirming their significant role in the development of contemporaryUzbek literature.
