This article analyzes the linguocultural, ethnocultural, and gender aspects of the concept ofwoman in folk oral tradition. The female image reflected in the proverbs of various peoples represents theexpression of moral norms, aesthetic views, social expectations, and the mentality of a nation. The articleexamines the interpretation of the female image through positive and negative symbols found in Uzbek, Russian,French, Arabic, Georgian, Kyrgyz, and other national proverbs, as well as the formation of stereotypesassociated with femininity and the specific features of the concept of woman in male perception.
