This article examines the main part of corpus linguistics, which is one of the directions of modernlinguistics - the field of practical application of authorial corpora and their significance. In particular, attentionis paid to such issues as the identification of the creative personality of authorial corpora, their role in digitalhumanities and artificial intelligence, education and culture, ethical issues and the problem of informationconfidentiality, as well as their role in linguistic research.
