This thesis studies the comparative and historical characteristics of the units related to thenames of food used in Mahmud Kashgari’s work “Devonu lug’otit-turk” from a linguistic point of view. A scientific assessment of the extent to which the units related to food products included in the work are present inthe modern Uzbek language serves as a basis for research in this field.
