This article analyzes the concept of a dialectal discursive person from a linguopragmatic pointof view based on Komil Avaz’s work “Konalga”. The phonetic, lexical, morphological and syntactic featuresof dialectal units are interpreted as a means of determining the social, cultural and communicative identity ofa person. The research reveals the identification, axiological, solidary and expressive functions of dialectalunits, and the speech of the characters in “Konalga” is analyzed based on linguopragmatic models.
