This article considers the concept of ethnographic vocabulary also, the influence of cultural stereotypes on them. A brief description of ethnographic vocabulary is given, examples of this word are given in the work of various linguists as well as, their difference from other blessed words. A few words related to ethnographic vocabulary in Uzbek, Russian and English are analyzed and how their meaning can be distort ed by other peoples. Based on examples from the Uzbek, English and Russian cultures, specific words and images that have become stereotypical are revealed. In this work, it explains in detail what consequences incorrect thinking about that and whether other culture are given as an example of a number of factors that reflect them. To solve these problems in the article, special attention is paid to the role of media in the spread of such stereotypes, as well as ways to overcome the surface approach to learning the language using vari ous materials. In addition, the article provides examples of several famous books in three languages that are advisable to study the culture and life of each of them.
