The article analyzes the results of cranioplasty of post-traumatic defects which formed after resectional trepanation in various areas of the skull due to traumatic brain injury. The study examined the results of 60 patients which operated on at the Department of Neurosurgery of the 1st Clinic of the Samarkand State Medical University in 2018-2021 with diagnoses “Post-traumatic skull defects”. The patients were divided into group I patients who underwent autocranioplasty with a "VEER-shaped" design using titanium plates and into group II patients who underwent allocranioplasty using "Cranial-mesh" (titanium mesh). The results of the study showed that the use of titanium implants optimizes the task of eliminating complex skull defects, reduces soft tissue damage and the duration of surgery, and gives good functional and cosmetic results.
