This article analyzes the epidemiological characteristics of neurosurgically significant anomalies of the central nervous system in the Samarkand region. The article for 2012-2022 studied the prevalence of anomalies of the nervous system in 701 patients diagnosed in Samarkand, tobacco-growing - Urgut district, cotton-growing - Ishtykhan district, livestock-breeding - Koshrabad district. According to the results of the study, it was found that the prevalence of anomalies of the central nervous system is 2‰ in the urban population, 1,5‰ in the tobacco-growing region, 1,2‰ in the cotton-growing region and 0,9‰ in the livestock region.
