This article is devoted to tunnelling neuropathy in primary hypothyroidism. We studied patients in the Department of Endocrinology and Neurology, Andijan State Medical Institute, where 78 patients with primary hypothyroidism aged 18 to 59 years were examined for tunnel neuropathies depending on gender. Tunnel neuropathies were found to be a frequent syndrome of peripheral nervous system involvement in primary hypothyroidism. They had a multiple character with involvement of nerves of the upper extremities in the pathological process. Sensory disorders dominated in the clinical picture. The severity and frequency of tunnel syndromes in female patients were significantly more frequent and more pronounced than in male patients.
