During the years of independence, the scientifc style of the Uzbek language also developed noticeably. Dissertations and scientifc articles on various branches of science began to be written in Uzbek, which revealed many problems, including issues of terminology. The article deals with the problems that arise during introducing Uzbek alternatives for the literary terms and a set of complex issues which appear in this process.
