This article summarizes repeated imitation words included in the 5-volume “Annotated dictionary of the Uzbek Language” and comprehensively examines (classifcation according to the amount and type of meaning, different approaches to the presentation of words) we showed. We have also compared repeated imitation words given with or without sign, simple imitation words in the series and their places of presentation without repeated variant series. This article serves to study the processes related to the inclusion of imitation words in dictionaries according to the type of structure and their further development.
