In the development and progression of periodontitis, important role of complex relationships between the individual components of congenital and adaptive immunity, in which the central role is played by constant chronic inflammation with severe activity of the cytokine network. Therefore, one of the key questions in modern dentistry is the cognition of regulation of apoptosis in the oral mucosa, which is important in determining the severity and progression of periodontal disease
