Comparative efficacy of the two materials of PD for temporary obstruction of the root canal was studied:calcium hydroxide and«abscess remedy» paste. Positive results were obtained withtemporary obturation of root canals wiat an aqueous suspension of calcium hydroxidewith various formso f chronic destructive periodontitis. At that, obturation of theroot canal wits«abscess remedy» pastewas also found to be effective in the treatment of chronic forms of granulating periodontitis.
