In this article, the author discusses the material and technical condition of “Mehribonlik” orphanages in Uzbekistan during the years of independence, particularly in the Fergana Valley, the conditions created for the children raised there, the problems that have arisen over the years, as well as the state policy implemented to address them. The article also presents reflections on the importance of good material and technical conditions in “Mehribonlik” orphanages for the lives of orphans and children deprived of parental care who are being raised in these institutions.
