In this article, the author commented on the establishment, implementation and improvement of orphanages in Andijan, Namangan and Fergana regions. From a scientific point of view, the improvement of the activities of Houses of Mercy in Uzbekistan, including in the Fergana Valley, its legal protection, strengthening the material and technical base, creating the necessary conditions for them, as well as the causes of existing social problems are analyzed. The opportunities created for orphans and children deprived of parental care were also discussed.
