In this article, the history of Uzbek culture in the 20s and 30s of the 20th century, processes related to the performing arts and changes in the field were studied based on the analysis of archival documents. It was highlighted that, like many directions, the culture in the performing arts over time came under the influence of the policies of the Soviet government and the Communist Party, and the processes related to the field, the life and work of artists, the content of stage works, and repertoires were under strict control.
