ENERGY PARAMETERS OF ACTIVATION PROCESSES IN THE FIELD OF PHASE TRANSFORMATIONS IN THE LaF3 NANOCLUSTER

The results of quantum-chemical calculations of the profiles of the intracellular potential relief are presented for an elementary disordering event in different parts of the LaF3 crystallite lattice of size 3.5×2.0×2.2 nm containing 1200 ions. For the dielectric and high-conductivity phases, it was established that the potential barriers limiting the motion in the anion sublattice in the central part of the nanoclusters are approximately 1.5−2.0 times higher than the potential barriers on its faces. For this reason the efficiency of thermostimulated motion in the anion sublattice on the faces of the crystallite exceeds by several orders of magnitude of the efficiency of the movement of fluoride ions in its central regions (parts).
