This article analyzes the views and rituals of the Uzbek people on the cult of birds. It highlights the problems that have arisen as a result of the disruption of the balance in the natural world and the formation of a negative attitude towards the animal and bird world in the current environmental problems from a historical and ethnographic perspective. Attention is also paid to the historical roots of the ornithological knowledge and imagination of the Uzbek people.
