This article describes the famous German scientists, members of the noble German Richthofen family, who made significant contributions to the study of such sciences as geography, geology, history, legal history, and ethnology. The author emphasizes the encyclopedic knowledge of the scientists, their exploration of current historical issues, and their expeditionary and practical work.
