This article analyzes Alisher Navoi’s role in state and political life as well as his diplomatic activity based on historical sources. It examines his participation in the political processes of the Timurid period, his relations with Husayn Bayqara, his contribution to ensuring internal stability, and his administrative experience as the governor of Astarabad. Particular attention is paid to the principles of public service reflected in the work “Waqfiya,” which are evaluated from the perspective of diplomatic ethics. The study concludes that Navoi should be regarded not only as a poet but also as a politician and skilled diplomat who played a significant role in history.
