In the article the views of the Uzbek people related to the cult of “Rain” are analyzed from a historical and ethnographic aspect. The views associated with this symbol, religious, historical, philosophical and ethnographic materials are presented in it on the example of the Uzbek people. Because, in the conditions of ecological crises and water shortages of today, ancient traditions are increasingly being forgotten. In this process, by analyzing folk beliefs related to the symbol of rain and providing ethnographic conclusions about it, young people will be able to form a positive attitude towards nature and water, which is its important component.
